About
Colorado based photographer Andrew Shafer has been working with businesses and organizations since 2006 to create visual assets necessary to promote ideas, products and people. His objective through collaboration, is to create high quality image content for each client that will inform and engage.
A passion for the outdoors, adventure, and the natural world is what initially had Andrew hooked on photography. A move to Maui helped engrave his passion in photography and the ocean and got him thoroughly addicted to making images.
Andrew studied commercial photography in Santa Barbara with a group of world-class instructors and professional photographers, which pulled back the curtain on what a career in photography could be.
Tremendous opportunities have allowed him to have worked on a wide variety of projects with a great collection of clients. Photography has allowed him to go places, meet people and see things he may not have otherwise. Andrew is grateful for every person, client, and opportunity that he's come across throughout his career, because these have been, and continue to be, the building blocks of his business.
These days Andrew is inspired by his family, and the important fact that he still gets to do what he enjoys!
